This week we’ll draw some existing cartoons, and make up our own. We’ll make comic strips and put them together into our own class comic book. We’ll learn about animation and make real animation cells! We’ll make large stand-ups of our characters, and we’ll even make small sculptures of some of our creations! In order to build this fabulous town you will need to know how buildings stand up and what makes one different from the one next store. So first, we will go on a scavenger hunt in downtown Troy in search of lions, bells, domes and gargoyles and figure out what makes a building special. Then we'll use all these ideas as we build our wacky world.
